Woodland Pixie

You know what I hadn't drawn a whole lot of before this piece? FLOWERS. Lots and lots of flowers!

This was another commissioned promotional piece for the wonderfully talented Nichameleon, this time featuring her as a woodland pixie. And while I was excited to tackle another fantastical character, I hadn't quite anticipated how much time I'd be spending figuring out all that foliage!

But that's part of the fun of taking on these kinds of projects. Every now and then, you find yourself drawing something you might never have thought to tackle otherwise. And I had a great time with this one!
