Belly Dancer

This was a commissioned piece for a client's wife, inspired by her love of belly dancing!

The whole thing was done traditionally with pencils, inks, and markers. No digital trickery here! I've always LOVED working with traditional materials, and there's something incredibly satisfying about putting pen to paper and watching an illustration come together.

I had a great time with this one. Sometimes it's just nice to get away from the screen, break out the art supplies, and make something fun!
