Take a Hike

This one came from a suggestion on social media, and I had a lot of fun with it because it gave me an excuse to work a little bit of my love for hiking into my pinup art!

Being a Pacific Northwest kid, I grew up doing a LOT of hiking. Although, I'll admit, there were plenty of days when being dragged along on another family hike felt like... well, a drag. Haha! Funny how that works, because these days I absolutely love being outdoors. I just don't get out there nearly as often as I'd like.

So, in a way, this piece became a little love letter to the place I grew up and all the natural beauty I've come to appreciate over the years.

And let's not overlook the little bunny in the corner. I mean, seriously. You can have your beautiful scenery and your pinup girl, but that little guy? He's stealing the whole damn show!
