Okay, Boomer!

Fan art is always fun to indulge in, and this commissioned piece featuring Marvel's Boomer was no exception!

Truthfully, I have absolutely no shame in admitting that I had NO idea who this character was when the request came in. Which, considering my love of comics and the ridiculous number of characters rattling around in my head, is actually pretty rare!

At any rate, the goal here was simple: a traditional pen-and-ink illustration. No color, no elaborate background, just a fun character drawing that could stand on its own.

Short, sweet, and a lot of fun to put together. Best of all, the client was thrilled with the result, and it's always rewarding to know a piece has found a happy home!
