Morning Ness

***Update! Having had some distance from the original digital render of this, I decided to reboot the image with fresh, almost cel-shaded style that I've recently become rather fond of. My interest in pinup is to communicate a character in an as emotionally impactful way as possible while being careful not to over-rev on detail. I feel that that perspective should come not only from line work and style, but also from the rendering process. Also, I really wanted the dog to have a reason to be tugging on her sock! "GET OUTTA BED AND WALK ME!"

Recently finished up this piece of Ness Suicide, who was keen to have some pinup artwork done. I embellished a bit with the puppy as a nod to my favorite Playboy cartoonist, Dean Yeagle.

Once again, I made a few edits to the face, some color choices, and added a bit of film-like qualities to the overall render. This is from 2021.

I revisited this concept once again in 2020 with a change to the character design and a few of the color and environment elements.
